It is located in “Estación de Hijate” spot, in the Almanzora and Guadalquivir Rivers´ slopes, in an evenness where our sight will get lost and opposite to the forsaken Hijate´s Railway Station. The far-house is isolated but well communicated (15 minutes time from Baza).At its entrance there is a trees walk to pass through, and at the end of it we find the main dwelling which possess an Andalusian patio surrounded by the ancient peasants´residences. Under the patio´s shades we find a barbecue where we can enjoy the summer nights. Furthemore, you can amuse in the farming museum. It also hold a great swimming-pool with lawn, hourses croups and as military heritage (since it was a militar ward and air-force camp during the Civil War), an anti-aircraft shelter that has been enabled as cellar. Walking along its area you can enjoy its nature and landscapes. There, we also encounter gardens, an ecologic orchard where all kind of vegetables are grown, fruit trees, domestic animals: rabbits, hens, ducks, horses, etc… Besides a wide space as kids playground. |
